After Isabella lost her son, Adam, and her beloved husband, Fate, Khaine saw an opportunity to act upon his lust for her. His desire for Isabella, however, was met with rejection and resentment. Unable to fulfill his desire for Isabella, he settled for her daughters. The bastard offspring of this union became known as the race of Kithane.

              

Physical Description

Kithane gain many of their characteristics from the true image of Khaine. Two horns protrude from their forehead and their skin is broken up by large, red veins. Occasionally they will also possess piercing red eyes. Beyond this, they resemble humans.

 

Culture

Kithane are often not trusted by the other races of Panthes. Their natural ability to lie as well as their charming demeanor has gained them the stigma of being dishonest. To be fair to the other races, however, this stigma is usually accurate.

 

Most Kithane are incredibly impulsive and will almost always act on their desires, regardless of the consequences. Thus, the majority of Kithane are found in Whim, the city known for its raucous environment and seedy dealings. They pride themselves on emulating Khaine as often as possible.

 

Kithane also make incredible mercenaries. They have a natural talent of stabbing others in the back.

Description: Kithaine are immune to any skills that discern the truth or would force the truth out of them.

Purchasable Racial Skills:
Charm 6 Build, 6 Energy:  Kithaine can cause a target to become non-aggressive towards himself.  Charm is forfeit if the Kithaine attacks or harms the Charmed character.  This skill does not cause the target to become non-hostile to anyone else other than the Kithaine using the skill.  Duration: 1 Minute.

 

• Effect: Mental

• Range: Point and Click

 

Determine Lie 3 Build, 6 Energy:  A Kithaine with this skill may determine the truth of his target’s most recent statement.  The target character must tell the Kithaine if his statement was true or false.

 

• Effect: Mental

• Range: Point and Click

 

Underhanded 5 Build:  A Kithaine with this skill deals +1 Damage when attacking a target in the back torso.

 

• Effect: Passive

• Range: -

 

Racial Detriments: 
Fiercely Independent: Kithaine are a race driven by strong independent desires.  They cannot give or receive beneficial Mental effects.  They can still use Personal based Mental effects.

 

Khaine’s Stigma: Characters with this skill gain no additional point of damage for wielding a weapon in two hands. 

 

Costuming Requirements: Red blood lines in face and bone colored horns.
