Pantheon LARP




Wild Shape
This skill allows the character to gain bestial aspects. This grants the character a base of 10 Body. All further Bestial forms alter/modify this template. When this skill is used the character is Shifted for 30 Minutes and requires 15 Seconds of Roleplaying to Shift. Anything the character was holding (ie. pouches, weapons, items) becomes melded into his person and is unusable by any means for the duration of the Wild Shape. If the Wild Shaped character’s Body total is reduced to 0, the character reverts to his natural form in the first stage of his Death Count. A character who is Wild Shaped may choose to revert to his natural form before the duration is up. The template gained from this form replaces whatever his natural Body/Natural Armor skills total was. A Shifted character cannot use any skills that do not carry the Wild Shape tag. A Shifted character does not speak in the common tongue and he cannot communicate with anyone other than other Shifted characters or those using Speak With Animals. Wild Shaped characters cannot manipulate objects. This includes: using potions, wielding weapons, opening doors, etc…Character with this skill must choose an initial animal which he can shift to. Once this decision is made it cannot be changed. Characters may choose from the following list:
Large Beast:

Bear: Immune to movement skills/effects (Such as Throw and Push). Large Claws, 4 Damage.

Rhino: Soak of +1. Large Claws, 4 Damage.

Crocodile: Aquatic, Immune to Subdue. Large Claws, 4 Damage.
Medium Beast:

Boar/Stag: Pierce Armor requires 2 less Energy to use. Small Claws, 4 Damage.

Wolf/Dog: Scent, Trip requires 2 less Energy to use. Medium Claws, 3 Damage.

Panther/Leopard/Tiger: Rake, Subdue requires 2 less Energy to use. Medium Claws, 3 Damage.
Small Beast:

Monkey: Retain fine manipulation. Can make use of any object of any size no larger than a small weapon. Cannot use any weapons except Thrown Weapons. Small Claws, 1 Damage.

Badger/Wolverine: Immune to Poisons and Diseases. Small Claws, 3 Damage.

Rat/Raccoon/Fox: Soak of 2 vs. any Ranged Damage. Small Claws, 2 Damage.
* Any damage from Unarmed Proficiencies the character may possess stack with damage from Claws.

Large Beast
Skill Name: Aquatic [Wild]
Description: A Shifted character with this skill may breathe under water.
Effect: Passive

Skill Name: Break Limb [Melee] [Wild]
Description: This skill allows a beast to break a target creature or character’s limb. He may target an arm or leg of his opponent. If the strike is successful, the target limb is broken.
Effect: Physical

Skill Name: Break Restraints [Wild]
Description: This skill allows a beast to break out of any type of bindings. This includes Subdue or any other grappling type skill as well as rope or shackles.

Skill Name: Constrict [Unarmed] [Wild]
Description: This skill allows a beast to slowly squeeze the life out of a target that he has Subdued. He may use this ability to deal 1 Body damage every 10 seconds which must be counted out loud audibly enough for the target to hear. Any additional Strength bonuses or enhancements (above base) further modify the damage from Constrict. (Ex. If the beast using Constrict has Strength +1, the skill would deal 2 Body every 10 seconds.) As long as the Subdue is sustained, the beast must only spend the Energy for Constrict the one initial time. Break DC: Skill User’s Strength +1.

Skill Name: Fear [Wild]
Description: Beast with this skill may cause target to flee. A fleeing target may not attack or use skills against the beast for the duration of the effect. Duration: 2 Minutes.

Description: Beast with this skill is immune to Fear and Fear-like effects.

Skill Name: Ferocious Strike [Melee] [Wild]
Description: This skill allows a beast to deal +10 Damage on their next physical attack.

Skill Name: Monstrous Strength [Wild]
Description: The beast is twice as strong. This allows them to deal +1 base Damage with all weapons, they can carry 2 bodies and move at a walking pace, or carry 1 body and move at a running pace. In addition, they add 10 feet when using the Throw skill.

Skill Name: Throw [Melee] [Wild]
Description: The beast can strike a target and cause them to be Thrown backwards 10 feet. As long as any part of the target is hit they must take the effect. The target takes 1 Damage for every 10 feet thrown. Every additional point of Strength increases the distance by 10 feet.

Description: Beast with this skill gains +1 Soak.

Skill Name: Subdue [Wild]
Description: The beast can restrain a target. They must touch the target with a boffer weapon, fists, or claws. A Subdued target is considered helpless and cannot move or attack. Break DC: Skill User’s Strength +1.

Skill Name: Blind-Fighting [Wild]
Description: This skill allows a beast to completely ignore any Blinding or sight-based attacks used on him. He is adepts at fighting without the need to see.

Description: This skill allows a beast to deal +1 base Damage when using claws.

Description: A beast with this skill may negate a non-Surprise Strike/Touch or Packet based skill/effect.

Description: The beast gains +1 Damage for every other allied Beast of the same Beast or Animal type that is fighting with him. (ex. Wolf fighting with another wolf yields +1 Damage)

Description: Beast with this skill may use it to deal Body Damage on his next attack.

Skill Name: Pounce [Wild]
Description: This skill allows the beast a quick burst of speed. The beast may call a HOLD. During the HOLD, the beast may take up to 5 bounding steps.

Description: When a Shifted character has a target Subdued, he may use this ability to deal his Claw Damage every 10 seconds which must be counted out loud audibly enough for the target to hear.

Skill Name: Trip [Melee] [Wild]
Description: The beast can strike their targets leg and force them to fall to the ground and drop their weapon. They may stand up any time after their body touches the ground. The weapon must touch the ground before it can be picked up.

Description: The beast can restrain a target. They must touch the target with a boffer weapon, fists, or claws. A Subdued target is considered helpless and cannot move or attack. Break DC: Skill User’s Strength +1.

Description: The Beast becomes immune to Trip.

Skill Name: Squeeze [Wild]
Description: Beast with this skill may squeeze through any door or window opening to the other side. Using this skill requires a 3 count. During the 3 count the beast may still be attacked and harmed as normal. Once the user begins his 3 count, the Energy for this skill is expended. The 3 count must be said audibly enough for those around him to hear.
